Celebrating 'Imagining Diana' at Michael's Restaurant

I was thrilled and grateful to be the guest of honor at a very special lunch at Michael's Restaurant in New York hosted by my good friends Cindy Lewis and Mickey Ateyeh celebrating 'Imagining Diana'
After 11 years of interviewing the famous and fabulous on Wednesdays at Michael's Restaurant in New York City, several of my good friends turned the table on me at a celebratory lunch at the media hot spot this week. Mickey Ateyeh and Cindy Lewis hosted a lively afternoon where I was joined by friends and colleagues including  Ann Curry, WWD's Lisa Lockwood, People's Liz McNeil, Town & Country's Norman Vanamee as well as Metabook publisher Ken Siman and publicist Judy Twersky. I was thrilled to be able to share with them the story of how 'Imagining Diana' came to be and talk about the process of writing my first alternative history novel. The conversation was so dishy, WWD did an item on the lunch and it also made Page Six!  Here's the WWD item:

'Imagining Diana' in Serendipity magazine

Photo by Claire Buffie for Metabook

Since the launch of my new novel less than a week ago, I have been thrilled and grateful for all the terrific press coverage and positive notices Imagining Diana has received. As a journalist, I much prefer being the interviewer over being interviewed, so I am particularly glad (and relieved) when a fellow reporter gets it right and conveys everything I said in an accurate, engaging way. This interview in Serendipity, the glossy monthly that covers life in Fairfield and Westchester counties, is excellent. The writer asked good questions and got my answers down perfectly. If you're curious about the book and why I wrote it, you'll enjoy this piece. Thanks Serendipity!
